Hispanic Heritage Society Awards Red Carpet Event

San Antonio, TX   Saturday October 13, 2007:  Actress  Eva Longoria officially launched her non-profit organization, Eva's Heroes with her  first annual  fundraising event, Eva's Heroes Celebrity Golf Tournament.

The organization inspired by Ms. Longoria's sister Elizabeth,  "is dedicated to providing an inclusive setting for individuals with developmental disabilities to interact, grow, learn and love with their typically-developing peers."

Hundreds of people attended including a number of Ms. Longoria celebrity friends who were on hand to lend their support.  The list included Jesse Borrego, Mario Lopez, George Lopez, Kyle MacLachlan, Lupe Ontiveros, Sean Ellliot and Rita Verreos. 

George Lopez performed a 30 minute stand up act,  a dinner with Mario Lopez was auctioned off for over $8k and a dinner with Eva and Tony Parker went for $12k after Ms. Parker announced that they were a very fun couple and that she would do a dance for the highest bidder.
